This is my sister. The perfect example of how true warriors can hide behind the most cheerful and warmest smiles. She has been battling cancer for exactly a year now. Her treatments are heavy, she is having a lot of side effects.

But this photo is actually a quite recent photo of her. Because through all this, through the ups and downs of treatments, side effects and difficulties she still keeps smiling. Now it is time for her last big battle she will receive a treatment in the coming weeks that will help her get better.

We are fortunate to live in a country where she gets support and care that she deserves, with great doctors surrounding her and doing their best. We don’t need financial support.

But we do need spiritual support! We believe that if we hope, pray, affirm (whatever your spiritual belief might be) enough, it will help her to get through it. Support is everything when you are going through something this tough. So in the coming weeks we will collect good wishes in the form of postcards. If you have the possibility to send a card for her, even with just a short good wish, anything to tell her that she is loved and supported, that would mean the world to her and our family.
